About Halvorsen

A family firm that still answers its own phone.

We're a small, family-run team of heating, plumbing and electrical technicians. We've grown by doing the job properly and being easy to deal with, and we intend to keep it that way.

Why four trades

Your house doesn't keep its systems in separate boxes. Neither do we.

A heat pump needs the right circuit. A tankless water heater needs gas, water and power in exactly the right places. An EV charger has to share the panel with everything else. When those trades come from three different companies, you end up as the project manager, passing messages between people who've never met.

So we put heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical under one roof. One technician can look at the whole picture, one schedule covers the whole job, and one company is responsible for the result.

If we installed it, we stand behind it. If someone else did, we'll still tell you the truth about it.

That last part matters to us. Plenty of our visits end with "this is fine, leave it alone", and we'd rather earn your next call than oversell this one.

How we work

The house rules.

Six promises that apply to every visit, from a filter change to a full system install. They're written down so you can hold us to them.

  • Written price first

No work starts until you've approved a written price. If we find something unexpected mid-job, we stop and ask.

  • No sales commission

Our technicians are paid for good work, not for selling equipment. A repair is always on the table.

  • Covered and cleaned

Shoe covers, drop cloths and a vacuum on every visit. The old equipment leaves with us.

  • Photos of the work

You get before-and-after photos and a short written report, so you know what was done even if you weren't home.

  • Two-year guarantee

If something we did fails within two years, we come back and put it right at no charge.

  • Straight answers

If a repair isn't worth doing, or solar doesn't suit your roof, we'll say so, even when it costs us the job.

Four trades, one standard

One call covers the whole house.

  • Heating & cooling

Heat pumps, air conditioning, furnaces, boilers and radiant floors.

  • Plumbing & water

Tank and tankless water heaters, filtration and drinking-water systems.

  • Electrical

Panels, circuits, surge protection, lighting and EV chargers.

  • Energy & envelope

Insulation, air sealing, dehumidifying and solar.
